In order to keep the price of consumer goods at a bearable level in the coming holy month of Ramadan, TK Group inaugurated the sale of consumer goods at an affordable price in front of Petro Bangla in Karwan Bazar at 10.00 am today on March 10, 2024.
The sales program was inaugurated by the Director General (Additional Secretary) of National Consumer Rights Protection Directorate, Mr. A. H. M. Safikuzzaman.
At the beginning, the representative of TK Group said that TK Group sells several products including oil, flour, flour, semolina, dal, milk at affordable prices every year before Ramadan. He also said that the sale of consumer goods at affordable prices will continue throughout the country during the month of Ramadan. Currently, this program is being conducted in 20-22 districts of the country. He sought everyone’s cooperation to run this program smoothly.
In the beginning of his speech, the Director General of the Directorate expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the TK Group authorities for this initiative. He said, hundreds of products have been discounted on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in the United Arab Emirates. He also said that in consideration of the purchasing power of the common people in the holy month of Ramadan, the department called upon the corporate institutions to sell consumer goods at affordable prices. I applaud the initiative taken by TK Group to sell more than 50 consumer products at affordable prices in response to this call. He said that from March 11, 2024 and March 12, 2024, on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day, various super shops will be selling various consumer goods at special discounts.
Finally, he concluded his speech by calling upon the rich people of the society, including various corporate institutions, to take such a great initiative.
